Daily in the mining industry huge amount of material are processed through different kinds of machine, which in mechanical terms are not perfect and they often induce vibrations and dynamic loads in his operation, which are supported by structures prepared for it. Among the different processes one of great importance is the crushing, where through crushers the rock is milled until obtaining a desired size.Among other things the stone crushers are characterized for being machine of huge tonnage that produces loads of great magnitude, for this reason its correct design presents a challenge for engineering. In this study through the theory of machine foundation and also through the methodology of finite difference is presented the dynamic analysis of a foundation subject to the loads produced in the operation of a cone crusher of the Metso brand (model MP800).A sensitive analysis of the numerical model is performed previously, which allows subsequently validating and demonstrating that the finite difference methodology implemented through FLAC3D software is valid to analyze this kind of problems.Regarding the analysis of the foundation subject to the stone crusher loads, the relative importance of different variables as, load frequency, embedment depth, length and width and thickness of the foundation are studied, these analysis conclude that the load frequency is the main variable to consider in a design, which is studied through the frequency ratio that allows to determinate how far away is the natural frequency of the system from the frequency of operation of the machine. It is also concluded that by the expression proposed by Barkan, used to determinate the natural frequency of the system, results were obtained with an acceptable error and therefore this expression can be used to estimate the natural frequency.Regarding the dimensions of the structure, for the case of the north of Chile, It is concluded that a foundation of 5[m]x5[m]x2[m] has adequate dimensions since it has an adequate dynamic behavior. It is also studied the dynamic interference of two foundation of the same type. From this analysis It is concluded that when both machines are in operation the destructive interference of the waves generated by the operation of both machines produce a favorable dynamic response in comparison to an isolated foundation. Finally, a brief analysis is made on the influence of a slope in the static and dynamic response of the foundation, from which it is concluded that the degree of influence of the slope depends on the factor of safety of this, in the case that it does not have a high factor of safety, the foundation can present considerable differentiable settlements.
