Abstract
El proceso de Etiquetado de Eficiencia Energética para artefactos involucrados en el calentamiento de agua sanitaria, nació el año 2013 en el Ministerio de Energia, con el Decreto 64 y con el objetivo de entregar la información adecuada y suficiente al usuario final. El Decreto 64, Aprueba reglamento que establece el procedimiento para las elaboración de las especificaciones técnicas de las etiquetas de EE.Posteriormente, durante el año 2014 la Resolución exenta 72, aprueba las especificaciones técnicas de la etiqueta de eficiencia energética para artefactos involucrados en el calentamiento de agua sanitaria. Acto seguido, en el año 2016, la Resolución Exenta12244, indica la modificación del Protocolo de certificación para estos artefactos y este nuevo protocolo de certificación es validado durante el mismo 2016. Sin embargo, los ensayos indicados en los protocolos, se basan en la NCh 1938; 2005, la cual a su vez, tiene como norma referente la UNE EN 26; 1997.Actualmente, la norma europea UNE EN 26; 1997, se encuentra en periodo de revisión, por lo que se espera que a fines del 2017 se tenga un borrador final. Esta revisión, afecta directamente a la NC1938; 2005, es decir, a los Protocolos de certificación. Se espera entonces, que a fines del 2017 en Chile, la etiqueta de eficiencia energética para calentadores de agua sanitaria residencial se encuentre aprobada y cada artefacto que se comercializa en nuestro país, cuente con ella, ya que es de carácter obligatorio.
The Energy Efficiency Labeling process for sanitary water heaters was born in 2013 in the Ministry of Energy, with Decree 64 and with the objective of providing adequate and sufficient information to the end user. Decree 64, Approves regulations that establish the procedure for the elaboration of the technical specifications of the EE labels.Subsequently, during 2014 Resolution 72 exempts, approves the technical specifications of the label of energy efficiency for sanitary water heaters. Then, in 2016, Exempt Resolution 12244 indicates the modification of the Certification Protocol for these appliances and this new certification protocol is validated during the same 2016. However, the tests indicated in the protocols are based on the NCh 1938; 2005, which, in turn, has as its norm the UNE EN 26; 1997.Currently, the European standard UNE EN 26; 1997, is in the period of revision, reason why a final draft is expected at the end of 2017. This review directly affects NCh1938, ie the Certification Protocols. It is expected that by the end of 2017 in Chile, the label of energy efficiency for residential sanitary water heaters is approved and every appliance that is marketed in our country, have it, as it is mandatory.
