Abstract
En este trabajo se presenta un modelo integrado de localización e inventario. La políticade inventario es formulada de manera exacta como un Continuous Review (Q; r) Policy withFull-Backorder and Deterministic Lead Time. El modelo es relajado y descompuesto enun problema maestro Uncapacited Facility Location Problem y subproblemas ContinuousReview (Q; r) Policy with Full-Backorder and Deterministic Lead Time, con la intención deaplicar el Método de Descomposición de Benders Generalizado.La finalidad de este trabajo es concluir sobre la convexidad de los subproblemasContinuous Review (Q; r) Policy with Full-Backorder and Deterministic Lead Time, másespecíficamente, entregar evidencia numérica sobre la convexidad de los backorders dela política de inventario respecto a los parámetros de la política y a los parámetros dedistribución de la demanda.

The model is relaxed and decomposed in a master problem Uncapacited Facility LocationProblem and primal problems Continuous Review (Q; r) Policy with Full-Backorderand Deterministic Lead Time, with the intention of applying Generalized Benders DecompositionMethod.The purpose of this work is to conclude about the convexity of the primal problemsContinuous Review (Q; r) Policy with Full-Backorder and Deterministic Lead Time, morespecifically, to give numerical evidence about the convexity of the backorders of the inventorypolicy, in respect to the parameters of the inventory policy and demand’s distribution.
