Abstract
Teniendo como precedente la gran cantidad de contaminación residual doméstica enChile, se realiza una investigación que busque encontrar la relación entre 13 dimensiones ovariables que pueden influenciar el comportamiento humano frente al reciclaje.El estudio en cuestión se realiza en base a un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales siendocomplementado con un análisis univariado. La muestra cuenta con 206 encuestas válidas.El estudio fue realizado en la comunidad de Ciudad de los Valles y alrededores, sectorespertenecientes a la comuna de Pudahuel, Chile.La base teórica es obtenida a partir del modelo integrado de reciclaje de residuos doméstico,creado a partir de la Teoría del Comportamiento Planificado (TPB) de Ajzen (1985).Desde ella, se desprende que los principales factores que influencian el comportamientose relacionan a: Intención Conductual, Actitud, Control Conductual Percibido y NormaSubjetiva, aunque esta última no fue significativa para la muestra en estudio.
Taking as a precedent the great amount of domestic waste contamination in Chile, aninvestigation is made that seeks to find the relationship between 13 dimensions or variablesthat can influence human behavior against recycling.The study in question is based on a model of structural equations being complementedwith a univariate analysis. The sample has 206 valid surveys. The study was carried out inthe community of Ciudad de los Valles and surroundings, sectors belonging to the communeof Pudahuel, Chile.The theoretical basis is obtained from the integrated model of domestic waste recycling,created from Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) (1985). From this, it can be seenthat the main factors that influence behavior are related to: Behavioral Intention, Attitude,Perceived Behavioral Control and Subjective Norm, although the latter was not significantfor the study sample.
