Como primera etapa se estudió el mercado global, estableciendo la producción y consumo a nivel mundial, teniendo como principales actores a Europa y América del Norte. Además, se detallan los principales países productores, exportadores, consumidores e importadores de pellets de madera, junto con los estándares de calidad y normativas de los países de Europa que están más avanzados en esta materia.In the present work, a technical-economic feasibility analysis is carried out to generate wood pellets from sawdust. Its aim is to analyze the potential market, available and developing technologies, as well as determining the level of production, consumption of raw material and specifications of the product to be developed, carrying out the design of the plant, production process and an economic evaluation of the project. In its first stage, the global market was studied, establishing production and consumption worldwide, with Europe and North America as its main players.
