DISEÑO DE UN MÓDULO DE PROPULSIÓN POR CHORRO DE AGUA PARA UNA EMBARCACIÓN DE USO RECREACIONAL

Abstract

El presente trabajo consiste en el diseño simplificado de un módulo de propulsión por chorro de agua (waterjet), para una embarcación de uso recreacional con características específicas. Los pasos que se siguieron para realizar este diseño se describen a continuación: • Estudio bibliográfico para conocer el desarrollo que ha tenido este tipo de propulsión y comprender el fundamento hidráulico que explica como el funcionamiento de este permite impulsar una embarcación. • Definir las características del bote que guiaran el posterior diseño del sistema propulsivo. • Selección de la configuración base del sistema propulsivo y diseño de los principales componentes de la bomba. • Diseño y selección de componentes mecánicos que recibirán los principales esfuerzos asociados al funcionamiento del propulsor. • Diseño y selección de elementos que conformaran el sistema de gobierno

The present work consists of the simplified design of a waterjet propulsion module for a recreational boat with specific characteristics. The steps that were followed to carry out this design are described below: • Bibliographic study to know the development that this type of propulsion has had and to understand the hydraulic foundation that explains how the operation of this allows to drive a boat. • Define the characteristics of the boat that will guide the subsequent design of the propulsion system. • Selection of the basic configuration of the propulsion system and design of the main components of the pump. • Design and selection of mechanical components that will receive the main efforts associated with the operation of the propeller. • Design and selection of elements that will make up the government system
