Abstract
The eVTOL aircraft have been years in development and they begin functioning by 2025, potentiating their knowledge to the public during these last times, due to the agreements that difference companies in several countries have begun to reveal. In Southamerican area, are the cases of the Gol (MarketWatch, 2021) and Azul (Valdés, 2021) airlines. So, the question arises as if in Chile, specifically for the airlines of this nation, it is feasible the incorporation of this kind of aircraft. The following work is a preliminary analysis made with the scarce existing information since a developing market with a long way to go. However, it was possible to find 10 eVTOL of 9 companies with enough information to understand and classify the trips that they´ll offer, where the half are focused on flights between two cities, and even extrapolate unknow sale prices. Supported by the projection of arrivals passengers to AMB, the demand of clients to travel in eVTOL was predicted in 3 sceneries called Pessimistic, Moderate and Optimistic. With the previous information, the cost of transportation of each client according to the capacity of the aircraft was determined, and based on these, some were discarded by offering a more expensive ticket than others that got to the same destination. With 3 prototypes corresponding to the MOBi-One, the Lilium Jet and the ALIA-250, 3 models were created for the financial evaluation being just one investor with a profit margin (PM) of 13,3%, two or more airlines entering to the market and just one company with variable PM. Due to the conclusion of the models, it was determined that the incorporation of eVTOL in Chile it is indeed feasible if it is only with just one entering corporation that obtains a PM bigger than 27,95% annually. With that being said, the Lilium Jet was recommended, since it will offer the lowest cost per Km.
