ANÁLISIS DEL SENTIR CIUDADANO POR EL RETIRO DE FONDOS DE AFP, MEDIANTE LA VISUALIZACIÓN DE MEMES

Abstract

Los retiros de fondos de pensiones en Chile corresponden a un hito histórico del país. Durante el año 2020 fue cuando se permitió por primera vez el retiro de parcial de estos, más específicamente, del 10 % del total acumulado por cada ciudadano. A partir de este acontecimiento se comenzaron a viralizar distintos memes por las redes sociales. En este trabajo se buscó analizar el sentir de la ciudadanía frente al retiro de fondos de pensiones a partir de los memes publicados en la red social Instagram. El análisis que se realizó fue tanto de manera visual como cuantitativa en base a la categorización realizada sobre los memes, y de esta forma se generaron distintas visualizaciones que permitieron llegar a la conclusión de que, transversalmente a los 3 retiros estudiados, existe un sentimiento de apoyo hacia estos y de rechazo a quien o quienes no apoyen estas iniciativas.

The withdrals from pension funds in Chile are an historical mileston for the country’s history. In the year 2020, it was the first time the partial withdrawal of these was allowed, specificially, the 10 % of the total accumulated savings per citizen. From this event, different memes started going viral in the social networks. In this document sought to analyze the feelings of citizens regarding the withdrawal of pension funds, based on the memes published on the social network Instagram. The analysis that has been done was both visually and quantitatively using the categorization carried out on the memes, and in this way were generated different kind of visualizations that allowed us to conclude that, transversally to the 3 studied withdrawals, there is a feeling of support for those events, and a rejection to who don’t support those initiatives.
