Abstract
La mejora continua y la preocupación por el medio ambiente son discusiones que hoy en día grandes empresas llevan a cabo alrededor de todo el mundo, y son temas que se logran complementar en el presente documento, en donde el disminuir perdidas no reprocesables ayuda a la no generación de desechos, y esto se realiza aplicando una metodología que persigue continuamente la calidad en el proceso integrando a su vez la visión de la ingeniería mecánica. Goodyear tiene como meta reducir prácticamente por completo la generación de desperdicios en sus plantas a nivel mundial, en este contexto, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo encontrar una solución que disminuya la generación de desperdicios producto de problemas asociados al Breaker (componente del neumático) en el conformado y uso del mismo, en el proceso de producción de neumáticos en Goodyear Chile S.A.I.C. utilizando la metodología DMAIC (que propone cinco etapas que son: Definir, Medir Analizar, Mejorar, y Controlar), junto con otras herramientas de análisis que ayuden a determinar la solución óptima para el problema.
Continuous improvement and concern for the environment are discussions that today large companies are having around the world, and these topics are supplemented in this document in order, to reduce non-reprocessable losses to help the non-generation of waste, and this is done by applying a methodology that continuously pursues quality in the process integrating a vision of mechanical engineering. Goodyear has the aim to reduce completely her generation of waste in her installations, in this context, the present report has as objective to find a solution that decreases the generation of waste, product of problems associated with the Breaker (component of the tire) in the shap and use thereof, in the process of tire production in Goodyear Chile S.A.I.C. using the DMAIC methodology, together with other analysis tools that help to determine the best solution of the problem.
