ANÁLISIS DEL PROCESO DE GESTIÓN DE MATERIAL MENOR EN LAS COMPAÑIAS DE BOMBEROS PERTENECIENTES AL CUERPO DE BOMBEROS DE VALPARAISO

Abstract

El presente trabajo se centra en un análisis de la gestión del material menor al interior del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Valparaíso, particularmente enfocado al control físico de sus inventarios, donde se utiliza la norma GAO 02-447G como referencia. A partir de un diagnóstico cuantitativo inicial de la situación actual de la institución donde se observa un cumplimiento del 35.21% de la norma se generan procedimientos escritos y se recomiendan estrategias que posterior a su implementación permitirían alcanzar un cumplimiento esperado del 91.67 %. Lo que permite tener un mayor control sobre los estados de sus inventarios facilitando así la toma de decisiones operativas y el alcancé de los objetivos estratégicos.

The present work focuses on an analysis of the minor material management in the Fire Department of Valparaíso, particularly focused on the physical control of their inventories, utilising the GAO 02-447G as a reference. From an initial quantitative diagnosis with a compliance of 35.21% of the norm, written procedures are generated and strategies are recommended that after their implementation, would allow compliance expected of 91.67 %. What will allow the Fire Department of Valparaíso to have more control over the states of their inventories facilitating the making of operational decisions and reaching the objectives strategic.
