Abstract
En el presente trabajo se propone una interfaz y un protocolo que satisfacen la necesidad quetienen los astrónomos de publicar los resultados de sus investigaciones. Para lograr este objetivose elaboró una propuesta del proceso de ingestión de datos de alto nivel al Observatorio VirtualChileno (ChiVO), con el fin de que esta entidad publique los datos ingresados, cumpliendo con losestándares internacionales que se demandan.La elaboración de esta propuesta consiste en la definición de los requerimientos básicos para eldesarrollo de esta interfaz, definiendo los tipos de usuarios del sistema y las características de losdatos aceptados para su ingestión a ChiVO, además de la definición del proceso que genera automáticamente,los archivos de configuración para realizar la publicación de los datos al ObservatorioVirtual.Para ratificar la propuesta se desarrolló un prototipo funcional considerando un sub conjunto delos requerimientos planteados, asimismo el prototipo se usó como base para la estimación de loscostos de desarrollo para la interfaz completa.
In the present work an interface and a protocol that satisfy the need that the astronomers have topublish the results of their investigations are proposed. To achieve this goal, the process of ingestionof high-level data to the Chilean Virtual Observatory (ChiVO) was formulated in order for this entityto publish the entered data, complying with the international standards that are demanded.The elaboration of this proposal consists in the definition of the basic requirements for thedevelopment of this interface, defining the types of users of the system and the characteristicsthat the data must have to be accepted in ChiVO, as well as the definition of the process thatgenerate automatically, the configuration files to make the publication of the data to the VirtualObservatory.To ratify the proposal, a functional prototype was developed considering a subset of the proposedrequirements, and the prototype was used as a basis for estimating the development costs for thecomplete interface.
