Abstract
Debido a los últimos acontecimientos en el mercado del cobre y teniendo en cuenta elpanorama actual de la minería en Chile, además de la importancia que tiene esta para la economíanacional, es que se necesitan optimizar los procesos que se vean involucrados en faenas mineras, espor eso que se propuesto tomar recopilar antecedentes de una tarea crítica en la minería, tal como esla construcción de fortificaciones.Para esta memoria se han tomado antecedentes de todos los factores que se veaninvolucrados en la fortificación subterránea, tanto de métodos, como de recursos utilizados,poniendo especial atención en la utilización de hormigón proyectado reforzado con fibras comoproceso de optimización.Se abarcará todo el proceso de fortificación, desde que la roca se encuentra en su estadovirgen, hasta que se encuentra con fortificación definitiva. Se comenzará detallando el proceso detronadura, tomando en cuenta requerimientos de aceptación, materiales y equipos involucrados,además de factores críticos a tomar en cuenta, posterior a esto se detalla el proceso de acuñadura ytodo lo necesario para comenzar la fortificación en si.Se abarcará cada etapa de la fortificación, ya sean: Shotcrete con fibras, Pernos defortificación, Malla galvanizada y Shotcrete definitivo, poniendo énfasis en el hormigónproyectado, detallando materiales utilizados, requerimientos mecánicos, y controles realizados atodo el proceso. De igual manera se deberá poner atención en la calidad de los métodos de trabajoen cada una de las tareas realizadas, poniendo atención en los procedimientos. Se evaluaráfinalmente todo lo documentado en la participación en faenas de fortificación y se hará hincapié enfactores críticos, tanto en lo productivo como en seguridad y calidad.Al terminar este trabajo se tendrán antecedentes importantes sobre la construcción defortificaciones, y se tendrá una visión más amplia de lo que se está realizando en faenas minerasactualmente, de manera de que a la postre se pueda optimizar este proceso constructivo.
