In the book "Atmósferas" by Peter Zumthor, the author mentions this concept as a way of conceptualizing the first impression that a workleaves us and how it moves us again and again. According to the author's words, "the atmosphere speaks of emotional sensitivity, aperception that works at incredible speed and that human beings have to survive." The book, as a reference, serves to see how weshould intervene the place, because the place where the project is located has an own atmosphere and has not yet been intervened bythe human being and are the elements that make up the landscape. Which give account of that; its diversity of fauna and flora, textures, sounds and colors, its "spontaneity".The project is located in the town of Polincay, in the region of Los Lagos, which has two predominant and contrasting landscapes: denseforests and extensive green meadows; accompanied by rivers, estuaries and a great diversity of flora and fauna that make of this smalllocality a suitable place for the exploration and observation of its landscape. Some of the landmarks that we could highlight are: TheNational Park of the Andean Alerce, the National Reserve of Llanquihue, the Calbuco Volcano, Chapo Lake, the Chamiza River, theBlanco River, among others. The project, then, would facilitate both the equipment and the necessary guides so that users can carry outvarious activities in the aforementioned surroundings. Equipments related mainly to trekking, circuits in bicycles, kayak and fishing inLake Chapo, ect.Programmatically, it corresponds to a Lodge, which is defined as an establishment in the provision of the tourist accommodation servicein private housing units, located in rural or suburban areas and whose main purpose is to serve as a site for organized excursions for thedevelopment of activities associated with their natural environment, such as fishing, observation of flora and fauna and the like, andwhose intervention must somehow dialogue with the environment without disturbing the proper harmony of the place. It is the lodgeconcept that determines, finally, where the project will be specifically located: The forest. Well, it is the forest that allows you greaterintimacy with the environment and brings together the various activities mentioned above. However, the way in which the project is designedmust have a special respect not to disturb existing harmony, as the same concept imposes as a requirement. Finally, a main volume is projected that crosses the existing estuary and acts as an intermediary between the natural and the built andthat, in addition, detonates the different circulations that will lead the user to the different enclosures, public and private. These circulationsare located by means of outdoor trails to maximize the connection with the outside in four senses: sight, touch, smell and hearing;and whose destination corresponds to the rooms of the Lodge, on the one hand, and to the cabins immersed more deeply in the place,on the other.eng
