In this study an investigation is made to find out what are the requirements that mustbe met by a school educational institution to be able to carry out the installation of aphotovoltaic system, which is approved to be part of the Net Billing system within theframework Of Law 20,571. This Law empowers regulated customers of the interconnectedelectrical system so that, through a photovoltaic plant in this particular case, they can selftaptheir electrical energy needs and inject their surplus into the grid, receiving a paymentproportional to the energy injected. The di¿erent options of existing business models tofinance this project are also presented, with an extensive analysis of the qualitative andeconomic characteristics of each model. These models are compared throw the simulationof the application of each one of these in the Swiss School of Santiago, thanks to theinformation of electrical consumption that was provided by the school for this analysis. Finally, it is concluded that one of the options presented is the most attractive for a school, depending on its interests and characteristics.eng
