Abstract
La arquitectura típica del campo chileno es reconocida principalmentepor la técnica de materiales empleados, además del valor histórico y suorganización formal. Sin embargo en nuestro país, estas instalacionesaparecen vulnerables frente al continuo crecimiento urbano y el poco interésde nuevas generaciones por cuidar la identidad de nuestro patrimonio.La presente investigación y proyecto de arquitectura se hacen cargode esta problemática, enfocada a estructuras de actividad agraria, tomandocomo caso bodegas de distintas tipologías constructivas y materiales, paraponerlas en valor. Estos espacios de almacenamiento, permiten reconocerlas cualidades del conjunto y adaptar a nuevos usos el sitio, generando unnuevo polo de desarrollo, considerando siempre mantener viva la memoriacolectiva.Luego de observaciones y estudios previos, el proyecto se llevó acabo en el valle de Aconcagua, específicamente en las bodegas de laEx hacienda San Vicente Ferrer, ubicada en la localidad de san Vicentecomuna de Calle Larga.El desafío arquitectónico propuesto pretende recuperar la unidaddel paisaje agrario mediante la reutilización de bodegas, insertas en unentorno con recintos públicos de gran importancia sociocultural (capilla,colegio, centro de salud, media luna), considerando a nivel programáticoel incentivo de acciones terapéuticas y de aprendizaje, utilizando el equinocomo un acercamiento a las raíces campesinas, y retroalimentar estaactividad pasiva al contexto inmediato.La propuesta arquitectónica-espacial de “re-funcionalización” de labodega se explora en el uso del marco rígido presentes en la estructuraoriginal, alojando la nueva estructura, el pabellón, que continuamente setransforma en paralela y muelle.A nivel paisajístico se decidió construir un borde en todo el perímetrodel recinto con el fin de amortiguar ciertos factores acústicos y a su vezconstruir un límite como apoyo programático. Este borde, dependiendo desu emplazamiento, se convierte en pasarela, muro y talud acústico como unelemento arquitectónico de soporte.
The typical architecture of the Chilean countryside is mainly knownfor the art of materials used, in addition to the historical value and its formalorganization. However, in our country, these facilities appear vulnerable tocontinued urban growth and lack of interest of new generations to care forthe identity of our heritage.This research and architecture project take care of this problem,focusing on farming structures, taking warehouses of different constructiontypes and materials, to give them value. These storage spaces allow torecognize the assembly qualities and to adapt the site to new uses, creatinga new development pole, always considering to keep alive the collectivememory.After observations and previous studies, the project was developedin the Aconcagua Valley, specifically in the warehouses of the formerhacienda San Vicente Ferrer, located in the town of San Vicente, in CalleLarga borough.The proposed architectural challenge aims to recover the countrysidelandscape, giving a new use to wineries, embedded in an rich culturalenvironment with public places (chapel, school, health center, rodeo yard).Also consider to stimulate therapeutic and learning actions in a programmaticlevel, using the horse as an approach to rural roots, and feed back thispassive activity to the immediate context.The winery new function architectural-spatial proposal, is explored using therigid frame present in the original structure, housing the new one, the pavilion thatcontinuously transforms into parallel and dock. As a landscape level it was decided tobuild a border around the entire enclosed perimeter in order to muffle certain acousticfactors and also build a limit as programmatic support. This edge, depending on itslocation, becomes walkway, wall and acoustic slope as an architectural supportelement.
