Abstract
The UN General Assembly declares March 20 as the "International Happiness Day", this initiative is generated to honor the Kingdom Bhutan, a country that in 1949 separates from India, with the particularity that this nation since 1972 evaluate Happiness (FNB), which is an indicator that measures the quality of life in holistic and psychological terms. In addition, the UN on July 19, 2011, adopted a resolution that recognizes the pursuit of happiness as "a fundamental human objective," and invites countries from public policies to "develop new measures that better reflect the Importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development ".Defining happiness and well-being as a word is very easy but as a concept, not because there is subjectivity and it will depend on each person. Quality of life, vital satisfaction, and social well-being are all part of a terminology that is related to happiness, and which seek to acquire a physical connotation through the clarification of the concept and its capacity to be measured. From innumerable differences, at the moment certain consensuses exist:¿ Welfare would have a basic and general dimension that is subjective. ¿ Welfare would be composed of two basic facets: one focused on the affective-emotional aspects (such as inner strength) and another centered on the satisfaction of one's own life. Both closely related.Psychology as a science has historically focused on solving negative and pathological aspects of the human being, leaving aside the psychological well-being and the positive aspects. The responsible for the impulse and creation of Positive Psychology is the American Psychologist Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania, who in the mid 1990s decided to investigate the healthy aspects of the human being. Positive Psychology studies aspects of the human being such as positive emotions, happiness, joy and love, on the other hand, strengths such as optimism, creativity, gratitude, kindness, wisdom and resilience. This author mentions in his book "Authentic Hapiness" that happiness is a result of a set of positive emotions, such as comfort, self-fulfillment, fulfillment of our tasks and functions. The PERMA Model of Well-Being is essentially an unconstrained theory of choice and is a description of what people freely choose to increase their well-being. Dr. Martin Seligman himself changes the object of study with this theory, moving from studying happiness (1999) to studying wellness (2010) which is more comprehensive and transcendental. From this development of the PERMA Wellness Model, it has been derived to make Business Wellbeing models, adjusting to the company that wants it, as it is a flexible model can be implemented as a base in any company of the most varied industries or organization.
