In civil Engineering works It is fundamental to know the geophysical properties of the materials that shape the subsoil. There is a seismic method called Multichannel Analysis of superficial waves (MASW) that has been used in the last decades to measure and evaluate the shear wave velocity in different sites. The accurate extraction of the cutting wave speed profile is critical to any surface wave method. Although, Multichannel Analysis of superficial waves (MASW) method turn out to be effective for this purpose, there are data acquisition parameters which If they are achieve to establish correctly they will possible the optimize extraction of these profiles. The external parameters which influencing the measurement were determined, these are: 1) the offset source, 2) the distance from this source and the nearest receiver, 3) the distance between the geophone and 4) the receiver spread length. To check the influence of these parameters within the resolution of the obtained profiles, the different variants were looked of them. Finally, when the profiles are obtained, the next step is to analyses them and establish recommendations related to the configuration of the ideal parameters, where the main objective will be making the shear wave velocity profiles with greater precision.eng
