IMPACTO DEL TIPO DE AISLAMIENTO TERMICO EN LOS COSTOS DE LA ENERGIA DE CALEFACCION DE VIVIENDAS EN ZONAS EXTREMAS
Abstract
In extreme weather with low temperatures a great part of the year is necessarythat homes use methods to heat and thermally insulate to maintain a comfortabletemperature in the room and improve the life quality of people. The objectives of this report are compare in the exterior walls of a house withdifferent types of thermal insulate and types of home heating to determine the economiclong-term benefits to be gained by investing in greater thicknesses of thermal insulationand save heat energy in zones with extreme weather. For this, the cost of different types of heating energy, the efficiency and how muchis required in a thermal zone was determined. The difference between the energy requiredfor the thermal insulate thickness established by the norm and a thicker thermal insulatewas calculated. With this difference it was determined the energy savings by increasing thethickness of the insulation. The analysis concludes that the method recommended long-term insulation ispolyurethane projected as their cost is less than other insulation and has bettertransmittance value. Always investing in thermal insulation there is a saving of energy, butnot always reflected in economic savings.
