The present work describes an application of the Stackerlberg game, under the leaderand follower structure in the food supply chain. The game includes two levels of decisionmaking, the products processor and distributor, and it is modeled as a bilevel lineal programmingproblem (BLPP), which aims to to maximize the profit of the leader and theservice level of the follower. The main decisions of the problem include pattern cuts to be used, commodities acquisition, amount to produce, sell and store for the leader; and the missing product andinventory for the follower. The restrictions of the model establish the productive capacityof the plant, pork carcasses limit, inventory balance and storage capacity. This model was applied using data from companies from pork industry. The resultsindicate costs reduction and increasing the level of service. The main contribution is tosupport and assist in the coordination and integration of the two supply chain agents.eng
